From AP:
A fire in the cockpit of a United Airlines flight from New York to Los Angeles caused an emergency landing outside Washington, a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration said.
JFK → LAX would make it one of the “Personal Service” birds with blended winglets that United flies between those two points. Those are the nice ones. Anyone have a tail number on the aircraft involved?
