Iranian state media said a Caspian Airlines passenger plane
bound for Armenia has crashed in northwest Iran and that all
150 on board are feared dead.

According to Wikipedia, the aircraft involved was a Tupolev TU-154M. The registration number was EP-CPG.

Stands for tupolev. Its a brand name like Boeing
