I have discovered the record number of seats in an aircraft. No, it’s not a B747 or a A380 or even a Ryan Air 737 - it’s a Chinook Plus 2, serial number 02303XS owned by Donald P Jeffer, JR. It has - hold on to your seats - 992 passengers!

I downloaded the FAA registry tonight and discovered this bit of information.

(Yes, for those humor impaired folks, I know it’s an error.)
