An Air Canada First Officer had to be restrained by cabin staff and two passengers, (one an ex-soldier) it is said the first officer went crazy 15 minutes from shannon on a flight from Toronto-Heathrow aircraft was a Boeing 767-300ER, the plane landed at shannon met by medical crews, it is alleged the pilot was abusive and threatened cabin staff and even cried ‘god speak to me’, when the medical crew went to put his shoes back on he bacame abusive towards them, he was rushed to a psychiatric unit and has wife was by his bedside this morning, pilots had to be flown from London to finish the flight arriving 8 hours late.
