that’s the generic description of the device and I have already since some time"digested" the information presented. Still thank you for the info.
I tried to flash the custom firmware but without success, I get a checksum error file after trying to update.
I guess I have to go over the dfu way even to update the firmware but I’m not that courageous to debug a bricked device.

I’ve managed to load the custom firmware on Pluto.
Its now running a dump1090 that is using google maps as background - what I suppose is outdated - but even so that it looks good for now.
The dump1090 server is accessed using http://pluto.local:8080/ and the config web page runs on http://192.168.2.1/
The question is how can I configure flightaware that it can use this host as data source?
