First I have seen of the new airline Primaris. The My Travel is now Thomas Cook Scandinavia. Polet is the 3rd Russian cargo carrier flying A124s to the US joining Volga-Dnepr and Antonov.

POLET haas actually been flying them here for several years i have heard at least 25 of them flying military equipment across the country for training, because they carried the helicopters. While the troops flew on airliners.

I was not sure when they started flying in the US, though recently it seems more frequent. Back when I was young the thought of a Russian aircraft in US airspace would have sent off the air raid sirens. It is nice to know that times have changed. I would love to spot one of those A124s.

If your close to a bigger airport you can always use flightaware to check the airborne aircraft types and if one is coming close to you if you get there early enough, you might be able to get a shot or two of one.

Here is the website http://www.primarisairlines.com for the carrier operating this flight. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/WCP7506 Looks like a charter flight due to the fact that the website does not show this route as one of their planned scheduled routes. Maybe scheduled charter for a resort?

Boeing has been contracting AN124s to fly the 787 parts out of KCHS (Charleston AFB). I have seen one land and depart on two occasions as well as the 747 Dreamlifter. Both quite impressive when seen up close!
