That’s a slap of truth right there.
I started training in 2002 @ KLNS and paid $57.00/hour wet for a Cessna 152 and $30.00 / hr instructor.
Today, i’m trying to finish my training and its $97.00/hour wet and $40.00 / hr instructor for a Tomahawk.
Beating myself up for not finishing 10 years ago now
When I got my private a C150 was about $14 per hr. wet and a 172 was $24per hr.wet
that was 1971. I was in a club in 72 flying a Cherokee 140 for $10 per hr. wet and $25 a month for dues. It’s jut “plane” discouraging where the price of everything has gone. ![]()
