Why Dose Tracking Data Around CLT Not Appear.

I have flown from and to Concord, NC (KJQF) several times, and the tracking data never appears inside Charlotte, NC (KCLT) airspace. Why is this, since KJQF has a control tower, IFR Flight plan is not closed until on the ground.

Also was looking at flight for N7090S (which crashed last Sunday). Tracking log stops as flight just started descending from 8,000 to 6,900, and just entering Charlotte’s airspace.

There’s been a thread started recently that talks about fight data ending as flights get handed off to approach. Probably the same phenomena occurring here as well.

Or, in some cases, the pilot may cancel IFR, which usually results in the track ending. (See N86RL’s flights to MYAT as an example)
