Want to look at *REAL* time traffic?

I searched, but did not see anythingthing previoulsy posted about this website I just found.

Check it out! Real-time flight tracking over Amsterdam. VERY COOL! You can get a pile of information from it. It seems legit, having done a few cross checks.

Make sure you zoom out, and use the controls on the left of the screen.

casper.frontier.nl/

looks cool, it looks like it uses only data from Mastricht control though. There are no aircraft shown outside of where I normally talk to them.

John in Saudi

I saw a story about that on the news Thursday. They’ll be in Saudi soon.

I saw that, …better not say anything. Big Brother is watching.

VERY cool site. Love the fact that they all have little flashing NAV lights!

Yeah that is a awesome site for sure! Hope Flightaware can have an option for something like that someday.

How accurate is that software?

I was looking at it, and tracking a flight. And all of a sudden it disappeared off radar over the ocean.

The info comes from SBS reports passed automatically by the aircraft to whichever ground station. All that information you are seeing on that map comes from an SBS Radar-box program, a laptop, and a small antenna on the roof of a building at AMS. It tells you all that info on the site if you look, as that’s where I got it from some time ago when I looked.

Oh and the info is NOT real-time. It’s delayed by around 10 mins iirc.

Looks really kool, but where are the biz jets?

I would love to see that run for KATL! It would just be a/c on a/c on a/c!
