Noticed that many trans-pacific route aircraft the depature point is coordinates around 70N. Does anyone how that works, if there was an aerodrome it would come in as a code, and that is the Arctic Control above FL290 so its not like they are leaving controlled airspace and picking up a clearance on the way south.
Any ideas?
