Too funny…
Speeding will not void any warranty of any vehicle.

fully aware of this. just sayin that if the whole world had them we would be in a world of hurt. a friend of mine said he got a call from onstar, that told him if he did not quit speeding that they would void his warranty. dont know if that is true, but it is plausible.
No, it’s not plausible.
my gps can tell me how fast i am going, why wouldnt it be possible.??
I didn’t say that it wasn’t possible, just that it’s not plausible, e.g. highly unlikely.
My car is capable of being driven all day at 150MPH, yet you believe that the manufacturer would cancel my warranty if I broke the speed limit? Nonsense.

Maybe more plausible than people think…

Nobody is saying the technology is not there for controlling car movement or even controlling a car via GPS… That is already in place with “bait cars”.
I honestly don’t know of any instances where speeding will void a warranty of a vehicle. That I think is what JHEM is saying with the word plausible.

Wonder if maybe they were filming the take off or something…
That’s a very likely scenario.
Meaning likely
or likely?
Meaning likely, as in it is good chance that that’s what they were doing.
gotcha, I started second guessing my theory as it sounded sorta stupid, then again, driving next to an aircraft in T/O roll probably doesnt get you on the Dean’s List at Harvard.
I guess I was thinking in terms of You Tube. “Here’s a video of me in a spin”, then someone else has to top it, “here’s a video of me doing a 10 revolution spin”…hopefully I’m wrong.I can’t think of a better “reason” to run a vehicle next to an airplane during a takeoff roll. Not sayin’ that that’s a GOOD reason to do it, just sayin’ that it makes sense.
Yeah we’re on the same page.
Too bad it’s another incident that involves aviation negatively and it shouldn’t represent us

We know you’re clueless, you’ve demonstrated that many times. We were just attempting to show you the lack of logic inherent in your original statement in an attempt to prevent you from repeating it.

ook i can live with that. like i said my friend might be feeding me a story, and I fell for it not the first time and wont be the last time

As I often tell my wife, the truth only hurts if it should.
And that’s when the argument started!

How do they determine “speeding”? Speeding is relative to the velocity of the grannies driving around you.

Ah, Q-Tips!!! We dream of only having to dodge Q-Tips.
'Round these parts it’s females of Asian descent that are the bane of our highway existence!
