The US Airways PSA livery is out!

So tell me do you like music i bet you turn it on in the car if you do then i guess you like it right. So can you tell me a little something about music say in the 20’s and how you feel about that kind of music because you know if you like a little bit of something then you must like all of it right, thats what your saying about airlines thats what your saying about cars right well its wrong people like who they want, what they want, and when they want. I’m just saying its NOT my style along with the other people that said they don’t care to much for the other kind of scemes in the 70’s or 80’s. Now im not mad im just saying thats how i feel about it. But like i said I like the picture of the plane in the air.

After spending several minutes trying to deceipher the above, here’s my response.

Yes, though I don’t usually listen to music in the car, I do know something about the history of music and, in my oh-so-humble opinion, feel I appreciate it more because I do know a little bit about the history of music. In the same light, I appreciate what’s going on in the airline industry today - and not just color schemes only - because I know of the beginnings of the industry.

No, I’m not saying I like it all. Where you got that idea, I don’t know. What I was saying is that knowing the history of any subject makes one appeciate that subject more.

What led the muscle car era was the fact that the industry was being filled with more young people who wanted a different style car then there grand parents the first muscle cars were streetmods that were cropped down just ment for style and speed, then came along the muscle cars with straight up power GTO, Camaro, Firebirds, Mustangs, ect. I guess i do know alittle something about muscle cars so tell me how the age of aviation has changed? i would like to know because i don’t know the whole history of this subjet of the airlines schemes and so forth and so on.

VERY condensed history of how commercial aviation has changed. The history of the airline industry is very involved so I can only touch on highlights here.

-Only the rich and the foolhardy could afford to fly
-Airlines needed subsidies to make a profit
-DC-3 built - airlines could make money flying passengers alone but it was still the rich only who could afford to fly.
-Jets came along - flying became affordable for all
-Deregulation came along - airlines free to fly anywhere and charge anything. Unfortunately, while deregulation was good, airline management became bad.
(What’s the difference between the Boy Scouts and airline managment? The Boy Scouts have adult leadership.)

Ok then, on that note people know what they like. I don’t want to keep this going on any longer its in the past in my opinion, agreed?

Ok with all of the above said, US Air needs to paint the last tribute aircraft in that of Piedmont Airlines, the airline that should have remained in the buyout way back!

There are Piedmont and Allegheny planes on the way, to accompany the already flying America West and PSA planes.

GOD THAT LIVERY HAD TO BE ONE OF THE UGLIEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN!..
