The Android App Thread

This is funny:

iPhone4 vs HTC Evo
Caution - Mature Language

But I want the bigger GBs.

I was thinking of this video because my younger daughter just called to say she bought the EVO and switched to Sprint from AT&T.

“It $%&#ing prints money!”

…not sure what this has to do with this thread !

It keeps the thread alive and reminds management that they have a coterie of devoted followers Jonesing for an FA app for Androids.

Would love to see the Android app also. Would pay for ad free version.

I would also like to see a FlightAware Android App.
I agree nothing out there in the app world worth using.

Proud owner of the HTC EVO 4G

I would be very much pleased if you released an App for my Droid X…lugging a laptop around isnt so fashionable anymore

Please come out with an android app. I have flightaware for my ipad but just got a VZW droid and Flightview doesnt cut it.

Same problem here skinny2. My map is currently showing, but every now and then it just turns into a question mark. It doesn’t matter how many times I refresh, I still see the question mark. Usually, I’ll do a refresh thirty minutes later and the question mark is gone and the map reappears. I love my Samsung Galaxy and am looking forward to a flightaware android app!

I would also like to see FlightAware on the Android platform!

Steve

FlightAware is just about the only site/program/tool that I use on a regular basis that DOES NOT have an Android App! It is so frustrating that the iPhone App has been around as long as it has and still no attention being paid to the Android Marketplace.

An app where you can set a location and everytime you are at that location your phone automatically changes ring volume (ex. in a movie theatre phone turns to silent).

There are others.

I would gladly pay for an Android app.

C’Mon guys it’s time for an Android app. Not everyone uses I-phones…

Any updates on release date of a Flightaware droid App?

How about if we all say “Pretty please” Mark?

No ETA.

A lot of mobile website improvements this week: flight finder (type something somewhat resembling the airports you want and we’ll figure it out), interface internationalization, etc.

Can’t wait to download it!
