Strange track

Here’s a track you don’t see everyday.

Actually, we see them daily on posts just like this one. There are probably 2 aircraft with the same flight number operating simultaneously. There are numerous posts on this.

There’s this one, or if you like more variety, perhaps you prefer this one.

To rephrase: “Actually, we see this everyday and abl703 would have known that had he (or she) looked at the forum postings.”

Well this is the fifth post so you can bust thier chops!

If you are refering to abl703, then no, he can’t. As I have mentioned before, the first thing I do when going to a site like this that has a forum is to read all of the previous postings, or, at least, scan the headings.

If you are talking about me, then thank you, Boeing, for allowing me to bust abl703’s chops (no sarcasm meant).

I was refering to you there.

Ok, Ok, consider my chops busted.

I’ll try to come up with something that’s really notable, really meaty, to toss into the crowd of carnivorous, rapacious wolves that prowl these forums. In the meantime, I’ll exercise a little restraint.

SWEET…Another smart ass!!!

We all just get along so well!!!

Any bets on when the NEXT “Strange Track” thread is started?
I’ve got Sunday, July15th at 6:00 PM!

Maybe FA should have a filter that identifies “strange track” in the subject headings and kicks all such postings directly into one big glob of a thread, so anyone who tries to post one will be force-fed all the musings of newbies before them.

Seriously, abl703, welcome to the forum. I look forward to trading insults with you in the near future!!

Thank you, thank you! That’s more like it! 8)

I love smart asses because they remind me so much of the ape in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a classical movie if there ever was one (but still not quite as good as Airplane!, which is one of the top three greatest spoofs/comedies/satires ever made and is right up there with Spaceballs and if I can add a few more words to this sentence then I will be approaching a senetence length that Congress and the Infernal Revenue Service would be proud to take home to their cats and speaking of cats the movie Cats and Dogs should be banned because it is stupid because there is no way (and here’s a spoiler in case you haven’t seen the movie) that dogs would ever win in a fight with cats and that’s the truth!

Dami.

Had you searched the forums, you would have found that we have already discussed which furry pet is best.

Please check before posting, and do not bring up such controversial topics.

Edit to add that I’ll take tonight @7:43EST for the next “strange Track” question, and put some additional money on the kicker that it will be an AA Eagle flight.

Further edit to render Pat’s reply obsolete.
(PS, I wouldn’t recommend googling furry without safe search on. No I wouldn’t…

The only fury I like is the Hawker variety. I wouldn’t want any pet to get angry with me, furry or otherwise.

I’m going with 3pm tomorrow…allowing for more time for people to skip this topic and not know we’re betting.

Dami: It’s a shame that Spaceballs doesn’t get the acclaim that it deserves. Truly a classic movie.

“Young Frankenstein”, “The Producers” and “Blazing Saddles” are MUCH better movies!

Spaceballs didn’t even make the list and is only slightly funnier than “Men in Tights” IMHO. Although Spaceballs was worth the price of admission just to see Rick Moranis as Lord Dark Helmet.

The original “The Producers” from 1968 starring Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder is one of the funniest movies ever made and deserves its ranking above “Young Frankenstein”. For those unfortunates who have never seen it, I urge you to beg, borrow or steal a copy, you won’t be sorry.

The story of my life. Sigh.

No more busting Newbies in the chops!

“if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

Guess Dami and Pika have become speechless…

Think I’m finally learning that there are a lot of people of that fall under one or more of the following categories:

  • too lazy to look up something for themselves
  • too stupid to look up something for themselves
  • just plain stupid
  • just plain lazy

Just about the same time that someone had decided to point out to me, in a private message, the posting mentioned above, I decided to stop being Don Quixote fighting windmills. In other words, I’ll be doing less “look at the faqs and scan the forum topics, you &^*&^% moron.”
