apart from the LOON balloon last week I have spotted some circular tracks recently and looking into more detail and being fortunate to live on a fairly small island I found out these to be from the national coastguard aircraft of Mauritius either on normal patrol or exercises. It is good fun to watch their tracks as they go in a circle then move on and then another circle or similar

I like that sort of thing, I often spot some perfect circles on my daily heatmaps and it’s interesting to look back at the timelapse and see what they were.
