It appears your issue is very phone and/or browser specific. Using both Chrome and Firefox on my Moto X Pure, I see the entire windows that you show clipped.
I believe the new page is more mobile friendly than the old one. I find Chrome is the better of the two browsers I use for this page as far as navigating the page.
Screenshots were taken of my stats. page veiwed with Chrome on an LG-G4.
It simply worked so much better the old way. I personally despise any web page that has forced formatting and the FlightAware stats. page has just joined that group. Ones where I can’t scroll and zoom to information relevant to me or you have to open a ridiculous “pop-up” style window to veiw some information, like the stats. do now. Theres always some format/size issue on web pages done like this.
Thats why, by comparison, these discussion pages are sooo much easier to navigate and read. No stupid forced appearance/formatting/size. Scroll around and zoom in or out to your hearts content.
Strangely, my CONFIGURE panel does not contain the drop down for commands to send to the PiAware.
Here is a text representation of my CONFIGURE panel (because, for me, screenshots are just to much of a hassle to post on this forum):
Control Panel
Public Profile and Name

I agree with others that are somewhat less than pleased with the page redesign. Was there a problem with the old layout? I agree with keeping up with all of the latest trends in software, like “responsive design” which is really all about catering to mobile platforms. However, unless this design philosophy is carefully implemented to cover the experience on all platforms, what you end up with is something that is ultimately less user friendly and somewhat more confusing.
Having said all of that, I know that folks will get used to the new design, and the newer users will know no different. I am just not a big proponent of change for change sake. Unless something is clearly broken or non-functional, there is no need to “fix” it.
Just my two cents.
In addition, in the Configuration section, I see no place to “Send command to device”. Has this been intentionally removed? And before anyone starts with the “it must be your browser” business, I have tried Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and an iPad (Safari) cleared caches, done reloads and all of that good stuff.
Well all my sites dropped the reporting badly since the new page implementation.
Since all my 6 sites are doing the same I assume is not me but FA. Right?
Sorry, I don’t care for it in the least. Not only that, somehow preferences were reset when it comes to preventing auto update and email notifications and saving new settings doesn’t seem to stick. Since I compile and install myself, I’ll be (more than) slightly upset if the system decided to flip a switch on me and decide on it’s own to auto-update. Bleeding edge is not my cup of tea.
The log is near impossible to read since the popup box is not resizable/configurable. It’s a pain to flip between multiple sites. Just a few of the things I noticed so far. I guess old dogs and new tricks don’t always mesh too well. I’d prefer a method to view the old style if possible - if it is already possible I missed it the eye-popping mess.
No disrespect meant, just being honest. Would rather see more time spent on UAT or enhanced packet buffering to better aid packet collisions or something else (I realize UAT doesn’t help anyone outside of the US).
EDIT: Just noticed settings wont stick at all - automatically defaults to showing full name, auto update, email notifications etc. That’s a problem.
If you drop down the menu for PIAWARE commands in the *configure *little window and if you close it (the window) by clicking the little cross, while letting the drop-down open, the menu stays active, alone, in the middle of the main page (FireFox, PC).
When there is an anomaly, you cannot see the configure button on the main page, hidden by “view anomalies”.
The screenshots I provided earlier were taken with “Request desktop site” already selected in Chrome.
So that option changes nothing for me.
Nice try though.
Its an obvious “streamlined”, “new”, “awesome” design that doesn’t have “Desktop” or “Mobile” options anywhere actually on the web page to change the display type.
“It’s a 1-size-doesn’t-really-fit-all page that looks “totally cool” and “hip” and “new-age” and “sleek” so we’re keeping it (even though it totally screws functionality and ease of information display but shhhhh… on that).
Just keep pointing out how cool and sleek it looks. Those sticks-in-the-mud we can just fob off and ignore till they stop.” -is what I’m getting from this so far.
Basically “It worked before but we’ve changed it. Now it doesn’t. Just deal with it.”
So not sure if this has been noticed by anyone else or if this is even affecting anyone else, but my control panel won’t keep settings that I have saved. Right now it appears that its trying to display both username and actual name, and allow auto updating. Even after I change these settings, press save, exit the window, then refresh, the settings appear to revert to their old settings. I am not sure if the settings are actually saved and the window is displaying wrong information, or if the information is not saving and actually reverting. Anyone else notice this?
i think -aesthetically speaking- tabulations for ‘positions reported’ should be on the same level as ‘aircraft reported’ and the polar plot container should be somewhat smaller.
Well…it looks very Fisher Price to me. I let my 7 year old have a peek. She called it “pretty”. I guess I prefer “elegant”. Sorry to throw a turd in your punchbowl. The new page is loud, low resolution, and a clunk piece on all of my devices. Perhaps a “Classic” button can be offered to revert to the legacy page for those of us that prefer function over form.
