Why woould a flt from BNA-DCA divert after circling all the way up to BOS???

Looks like the flight goes BNA-DCA-BOS daily, if you cant get to DCA after circling… may as well head up to BOS with the passengers you got that are going there. Better to strand just the DCA passengers rather than the DCA and BOS passengers
