Questions about flight path

Hi flight aware experts…
I was on United 1912 2/22/20 and I have no knowledge of flying, as a matter if fact am a very nervous flier but do it because of its reward. Can someone look at the flight path and tell me what that loop in Florida is all about. I noticed we were in a big circle but didn’t want to think about it too much.

I’m no expert, but it looks like the aircraft probably had to hold that position until ATC could fit it in on its route. Nothing to worry about, just traffic management.
