Surprising that they did not have video of this maiden flight. Seems to have taken place on the spur of the moments. Sounds like a real seat-of-the-pants type of operation.

‘I had seen it earlier going down the runway three times, but it couldn’t take off,’ he said.
‘Then on the fourth run it took off into the air but at about 200 metres (yards) high, it shot vertically to the sky before veering to its left and then falling to the ground.’
Insanity is doing the same thing in the same way and expecting a different outcome.
I wonder what he did on the fourth try…
