When using a combo set of preamplifier and a FlightAware filter, is there a best location between the antenna and the receiver to have both of these located. I would guess that the closer to the antenna for both would be best or maybe not. And which one should be closer to the antenna, anyone try this that has some experience more than me that can help.
imho Directly next to the antenna - LNA then a filter. But if nearby there is a powerful source of interference, then the sequence will be vice versa - the filter then LNA
