Pilot of air ambulance arrested

kentucky.com/779/story/440006.html

A BAC of 0.007 after a reported 10 hours since last drink. Sounds like a not guilty verdict to me - IF that 0.007 number is not a typo.

I guess it must now be illegal to not brush your teeth in the morning.

Ya, but just look at the guy.

Doesn’t add up, .007 and >8hrs? Why was he arrested?

From the article posted in the original posting, the below allegations bolded would be why…

Blue Grass Airport police arrested Lynn after Polly DeWitt reported smelling alcohol on the pilot’s breath just before he was to fly DeWitt and her husband, Kevin, to a spinal cord treatment center in St. Louis.

Lynn blew 0.007 on a blood-alcohol test administered before he was brought into the Fayette County Detention Center, said Capt. Darin Kelly, a jail spokesman.

Lynn told an airport public safety officer that he had had two, maybe four, drinks before 11 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities were called to the scene just before 9 a.m. Thursday, and Lynn was arrested at 9:40 a.m., according to a police report.

The report said Lynn was unsteady on his feet, especially when he was walking, and his eyes were watery and bloodshot.
