Piaware connection time out (no syn,ack reply from server)

Hi all, i’ve just finished the installation of my ADS-B tracking setup. I am using dump1090-fa as the ADS-B decoder with a Radarbox dongle+antenna and a Sysmocom cavity filter and I am currently in the process of setting up the feeding software.

I have been trying to setup Piaware to feed to Flightaware’s server but I haven’t been able to acquire a connection to the servers. The logs say as follows:

and so on. (EDIT: I installed Piaware on Armbian with Orange Pi Zero LTS as the SBC. I tried both prebuilt package and self-compiled package; both has the same issue)

I’ve tried basic troubleshooting such as ping (which is nominal). I checked my firewall which is allowing new outbound connections by default. When I checked the NAT table, it seems that my device didn’t get the reply to the SYN request and timed out.

Would you mind helping me troubleshoot the setup? As for some info, I live in Indonesia (in case the firewall bans all Indonesian IPs, which seems to be the case with some US-based services) My current dynamic public IP subnet is 139.192.87.0/24 and I can PM the IP address if it is strictly required.

Cheers,

Hugo
