When I log-in I used my email, then enter my password, then have to check my email for a code, then have to get a code from Authenticator. This is nuts. I do not see a setting to control this???

You should not have to use a password any longer. We do not use passwords for authentication. What the flow should be, would be enter email, receive code at email, put in code, then there is an option to use an authenticator app for another layer or a link to skip the authenticator app step.

Let me clarify, you’re correct it does not ask for password. However, I do not want to have a EMAIL CODE and then an authenticator CODE right after every time.
I can remove the existing authentication that is set up, but going forward you would need to skip the section to set up the authenticator app. Please let me know if you would like me to remove the existing authenticator app.
No, I like using Authenticator, I do not like the Email code step. It makes me do both each time.
Sadly Jimmyco1 sign on methods are a result of so many data breaches and scams nowadays. The 1990s are long gone where everything was enabled by default. I too find our reliance on other devices for logon credentials frustrating but guess that’s the 2020s for us.
