Logging into FlightAware.com

When trying to log into flightware.com, I get the login with the three types (Sign in with the Google, Apple, EMail - options), I select EMail, enter my username followed by password. I get the signin with email, I put my username JamesHorn, select “I am a human” and click continue.
Get a Check your email and code message, get the 3 alphabetic characters - 3 alphabetic characters, enter the characters, and it comes right back with the same screen. It’s not matching the correct characters. It has done this multiple times.

Double multifactor prompts when logging in - FlightAware / General - FlightAware Discussions

same here. Tried clearing cookies, different browsers, and same issue.

Successful entry of the e-mail code will bring up a screen that looks just like the previous one, but it is asking for the code from one’s authenticator app as part of 2FA. Maybe that is your issue? It caught me out a few times after I first enabled 2FA. I was not reading the screen prompt closely enough.

I set my browser to NOT clear FlightAware cookies. I do not have to login on each visit.

Why is there a need for anything OTHER than a username and password. This isn’t my bank? FBI agents do not have this kind of security!!
