American Flight 9675 MD-82 left LGA June 6 at 1334, flew to Ridgfield CT and turned back, did a loop over New Canaan CT (my hometown), then meandered over LI before returning to LGA at 1404. Anyone know the explanation for this?
9000 level flights are “special flights” generally maintenance check flights or charters. We see them all the time in KTUL
