I’m new to this site and was wondering if anybody could tell me what NWA9869 is and why it was on a 757-300. Thanks for any help.
Sorry, but I’ve also been wondering what the Kitty Hawk 747s have been doing there, I saw one flying overhead the other day.
Due to the 9000 flight number, this is probably some sort of charter or maintenance flight.
I believe there is a large maintainence facility there - Dee Howard.
Dee Howard actually sold to a Japanese firm…It’s now called San Antonio Aviation. It is a big maintenance stop, and I see a lot of NW birds in there, as well as the occasional 747 being repainted to enter Russian service.
