I think itâs a very flattering photo of the guy myself! I think heâs worthy of being displayed in the Primate House at the National Zoo! I hear he puts on a HILLARIOUS SHOW!
BTW: In case anyone cares my vision has gotten worse than 20/40 so yeah there goes the first class medical. Right out the door.
Donât give up because of glasses. I hold a first class and my vision with out correction is 20/300. I did have to stop flying for a living in the mid 1990âs when my eyes got so bad I couldnât get a class II. They changed the requirements in, I THINK, 1994.
You may or may not get to go millitary, but then again. I could have gotten a pilots slot in the NY Guard unit based in KIAG. At least thatâs what there pilots were telling me.
I donât think an airline job is out of the question. Thereâll be another hiring boom and you could be in luck.
As we said months ago in your other post, as long as your vision is correctable (with your glasses) to 20/20 youâre fine! Without my contacts my vision is something like 20/200 but itâs correctable to 20/20 and I have a first class medical.
Yes.
You need to see better than 20/40. If you have 20/30 eyes alone, great, youâre fine. If you need glasses to help you get to 20/20, thats fine too, as long as theyâre not so bad that you canât even get to at least 20/40 with the glasses.
while there wasnt any âstrikeâ at Netjets, the union pilots WERE working without a contract for quite a while and some did picket. In the end the teamsters did very well and so did my brother. While I may be biased, HE is worth every penny they give him.
