looks a lot like the Cirrus Jet. :unamused: :unamused:

Only uglier.
Looks like something a child put together. Like one of those foam airplanes we used to play with as kids, with a bottle rocket strapped to its back.

All that glass and a hand held GPS. :unamused:

VIDEO from YouTube](Eclipse Concept Jet, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007 - YouTube) here is the Press Conference at Oshkosh as the ECJ is announced, and suddenly appears!!!

I just got back from Oshkosh and saw this plane in person. I thought it looked great - like a downsized military jet. From the crowds around it and the discussions I overheard, it was a big hit.

Me too, CAFlier. It was difficult to get photos because of the crowd around it. I was amazed how the engine sits at the same level as the roof of the cockpit. It does look like a toy though, and I’d love to see it in the air. I posted a photo in the Oshkosh topic but here’s a couple more.

I saw it at Oshkosh too. In the mockup they had a spin throttle which the FAA will in no way allow. Its great that the designers are thinking though.

great pics! I heard some grumbling on another board about Eclipse wasting their time/resources on this plane when they don’t have their in-market plane completely certified and their paying customers taken care of. It’s a fair point.
