I saw this plane today in a storage area in Barbados. It’s a B38M but now it is on its way to Tulsa. I thought all the Max 8 planes were grounded. Did they get special dispensation to bring them home?
Must governmental aviation agencies allow aircraft to return to some maintenance location with a special flight permit. The FAA’s grounding order specifically had such a provision. They must be non-revenue flights.
I think it is called a “ferry permit” good only for point to point for maintenance and issued by FAA field office. At least that is how it works for the little guys.
