1937 Restored TWA Lockheed 12A Electra JFK-CMH
Being one who worked in the TWA system, that is one beautiful airplane! You know what makes me sick though? I rented the Warrior to go to a Fly-in on 19SEP in KTAZ but I cancelled due to enroute WX, and looking at this Electra’s history, IT WAS THERE!!! ARGH!
I heard them on liveatc a few weeks ago practicing ILS and GPS approaches at KSBP. I would have loved to see it in person too.
