Air America in southeast Asia was always a wild ride. They flew many types of aircraft in the late 60’s,

My experience was as a pax on DeHavilland’s twin radial C-7 Caribou flying out of Air America Saigon’s Tan Son Nhut ramp.

Yep, and as I mentioned above I was a member of their frequent traveler program.
Got lot’s of hours in the Caribou, it’s the aircraft I joined the Army to fly! (At least until I came to my senses.) But for sheer edge of the seat, slam your sphincter shut approaches, you couldn’t beat the Porter!
Spent a lot of time on the Saigon ramp, but we had our own AA terminal at both Ben Tre and Dong Tam. That was the good news. The bad news was that for this “benefit” we were expected to provide kickers on an as-needed basis for “rice drops” which would result in everybody volunteering. Seems like a small benefit came with the duty of usually RONing in Bangkok!
probably Gulf Air from Baharain to Qatar. The service was excellent
Aloha Airlines from Oakland, CA (OAK) to Maui, HI (OGG)…only other airline that I have been on besides Southwest or ATA
I rode left seat on an exotic airline once. See if you can figure that out.
I guess Kenmore Air C206 amphib would be exotic or fun or something.
I also rode on these airlines and I guess now you can call them exotic… RIP: Trump Shuttle - PanAm - Wardair Canada - Cascade Airways - Hughes Airwest - Western Airlines - TWA - Eastern - Republic - PSA
Jump seat on the Concorde from London to NY. Not sure who had more fun, me or the crew.
I flew Sansa Airlines from SJO to TMU in Costa Rica on a Grand Caravan. It was back when TMU was an unpaved gravel strip. TMU has a beach at the end, Much like Maho Beach at Princess Juliana. The terminal is still a bench with a 4 parking space lot and a scale for your bags.
