Looking at MAF flight 1 I see that they use multiple aircraft including Gulfstream IVs and 757. Does anyone know what they use these planes for? Are the planes chartered then use the MAF call sign, or does MAF own them.

I think it’s the Mexican Air Force, and possibly the head of state.

I saw their B722 land here recently and heard “Mexican Air Force” as the call sign, flightaware.com/live/flight/FAM3507
