Hi,
First post here - Don’t know if you guys cover other countries but thought I’d post this as I’ve just noticed it on the news, no specific details yet. The 2 people in the plane sadly died.

The twin-tailed plane came down in a field at Tangley, near Andover, shortly before 1300 BST and caught fire.
“Twin-tailed”? Would that be a Cessna Skymaster?
Just done a little bit of investigating, the plane is apparently a “Piper fixed-wing single-engine plane”

No pictures as of yet…

Can’t think of a single-engined twin-tailed anything. The twin-tailed thing must be an error in the story.
Welcome to the forums, indigobanana!
Ercoupe? Kinda looks like a twin tail.
Ercoupe - yeah! A fine example.
V-tail Bonanza… yeah, I could see how an ignorant journalist might call one a twin-tail

Cool looking plane, probably fun to fly until CRASH!
I’d think the above applies to all planes big and little???
