Go into the settings on your stats page and check the lat/lon settings of the site. If you update/ adapt them there and save the setting you should be back in business
Thanks for the reply. Was hoping to bypass setting up the feeder and simply edit the config file direct but I sure can’t figure out where it is hidden.
I use the local web display and like seeing only what my station can receive direct as I live direct under the ILS to a major airport (MCO) there is plenty to look at.
I was looking over the history of the commands I have run on the Pi3 and did not find anything that helped. I must have configured the feeder, got the lat/lon set then took it off line. It’s been a while and I’m having trouble remembering.
I will give re-setting up the feeder and go from there.
Like Tom says…if you proceed to settings in the right-side gear wheel of the orange bar you will find “edit location” there. Just wanted to add the detail that if you choose the automated location choice, it will find your location and note it to a very accurate number that will run out to 5 digits after the decimal point. eg. 28.xxxxx. This is much more accurate than anything you can input and works very well. MLAT especially likes the format. IMHO
Auto location takes a while, you can set it manually with 5 digits as well and then it set straight away to the correct location.
There’s a multitude of maps available that can give you that accuracy if you just look it up on the internet
Got it figured out. Kinda like getting under the hood and seeing what I can break
For me and how I like to monitor the aircraft in my area (local with no feeds) I found:
sudo nano /usr/lib/piaware-support/generate-receiver-config
Look for the:
RECEIVER_LAT {28.5xxxxx}
RECEIVER_LON {-81.3xxxxx}
Section and enter the info for your station (replace the numbers and x)
Now it’s back to working like it did before the update.
