Just saw a plane I hadnt seen in years - A DC-8

It was one of my favorites on the GEG-DEN-ORD runs for United. Loved that plane.

Im working a late shift here at the Lab/Simulator building for Boeing next to BFI. Just happened to be looking out the window when I saw it. I couldn’t register what kind of plane it was at first but then I remembered the old Stretch 8s.

Need to look out the window more! That’s a scheduled flight.

It’s a shame it wasn’t a DC-8 that hadn’t been reengined. I’ve always thought the engines on the -70 series looked too big for the aircraft.
