Great Lakes bid to replace Mesa, but later withdrew the bid in April.
The USDOT is re-issuing the RFP. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cape Air, Locair, or Pacific Wings pick it up.
Also, google Maps says it’s only a little over an hour from Arkadelphia to LIT.
I think the plan is to offer the first 9 passengers that book on each flight the 9 dollar fare, other fare will be as high as 199 dollars. that is what i read earlier in this thread! correct me if im wrong
