Investigating real reason why an Easyjet flight was cancelled

Hello,
I wonder if any kind person can help me or point me in the right direction as to how easy it is to get flight data. My flight (26 June 2024, Easyjet 8234, Rhodes to Gatwick) at 4.20am was cancelled. The reason given (after I had made a claim for compensation that’s been denied) was a severe thunderstorm, but frankly I don’t believe them and think the plane wasn’t filled up (4am!) so they decided to leave everyone hanging until the next flight. I’m interested in looking at what flights passed across Central France at that time. I’ve looked at the historical weather data and though there was a storm brewing up in Central France there was no lightening until well after our flight would have plassed, plus I imagine planes can divert a few degrees port or starboard to miss an area of bad weather, or indeed fly above it… So I’d like to know if flight from other aircraft did pass across this airspace normally or divert, then I can go to arbitration if I have a case!

You could start by using this site history search [which is free to use] Remember all times are UTC/Zulu time [GMT]

There’s a difference between taking off and landing in a thunderstorm vs flying over it.
