As an aviation enthusiast…I can tell you this is the BEST site out there for this.

ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

All those pretty red dots zooming around the US would make a GREAT real time screen saver.

The “Star Alliance” has a free screen saver, but it’s the whole world so you can’t really see all that much and a random A/C is “higlighted” every now and then.

Something like that, just showing the blips moving like on the main page would be FANTASTIC!

We definitely have this in the works, both as you describe and also something that we’re calling “Track TV” that will be very cool.
