Gulfstream G650ER vs. Bombardier Global 7000

If you could choose:

Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7000.

And why.

I’d rather have an airplane that’s certified, proven and available now versus something that’s only on a computer screen in Montreal. Bombardier doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to keeping aircraft programs on schedule or in delivering on promised perfomance specs. Also, the 2+ year delays with the CSeries and Learjet 85 programs are likely to interfere with the schedules for the Global 7000 and 8000 due to engineering, flight-test and certification resource limitations. IMO, bet on the horse that’s already running the race, not on the one that hasn’t even been born yet.

Whichever has a better schedule and pay.
