I’ve noticed over time that some ADS-B equipped flights are not showing registration numbers. One that comes to mind is today’s UAE203 OMDB-KJFK.

Is this because of a privacy request from the airline or maybe FlightAware doesn’t have the aircraft in a mode-S/registration number list?
Is there a way to help out and submit known mode-S/registration number pairs to FlightAware?

Dis you get a screenshot from dump1090 web page output?
No, but I imagine it was getting the mode-S and Flightaware didn’t have the registration in their database.

Just a database issue…we don’t have mappings for all the countries. We’re about to bring a new db online in the next few weeks that should help a lot.
