I live near a busy airport. KCRQ. All day and at night, I hear and see planes making an obvious ILS approach as well as VFR. My screen refreshes but the flight map doesn’t show any planes heading for us, nor does it show any planes scheduled to land and the last landing listed can be 2 hours old. We get private jet and commercial flights here all the time but I can’t get any status of current flights, only history. Why?
Looking at the KCRQ airport page, I see 3 aircraft on the map and 10 arrivals in the last two hours.
All of the aircraft listed enroute should have current flight status. All of the recent arrivals will only have history (since they’re not in the air at the moment).
