Here I am sharing my experience flying India’s Vistara Airlines in A320 Economy class from Coimbatore Airport to Mumbai airport.
Vistara airlines was started in partnership with India’s biggest conglomerate TATA group and Singapore airlines. It is the only full service airline in India that offers Premium economy seats in selected routes domestic routes in India.Soon this airline will be history as it is to be merged with Air India, which is also now owned by TATA group.
The cabin was neat and tidy, IFE can be connected through personal devices using in-flight wifi, however internet isn’t available, the lavatories were clean, the cabin crew were friendly but only some of them had a smiling face. I opted for vegetarian food and was served with some flavored rice along with dal, bread, butter & desert. The taste of the main course wasn’t good, however the desert was awesome and it was below average. Although I heard that Vistara serves Starbucks coffee in their flight as TATA is the partner for Starbucks in India, they didn’t serve Starbucks in this flight. Flight was on time. Overall it was a good flight, I would rate 7.5 out of 10.
