A flight appeared under my N number, N18U, but it was another type and on the East Coast, I’m based in CA. Any thoughts?
Probably someone with a tail number ending in 18U and the controller only typed in the last three.
Happens all the time with our base customers. I know it wasn’t them since I am the one who pulls the plane out of the hangar. mduell is right along with sometime the people at flight service type in every tail # but the right one when you file. Better go check your hangar though
