I’ve currently got my FA/FR24 set up in my office window. Obviously this is far from ideal! Therefore, I’m thinking of relocating everything to my loft. However, we’re soon to have solar panels installed on the roof. Will these affect the reception of a loft-mounted antenna?
Most solar system inverters are electrically very “dirty” with excessive emissions. At least that is the case here in the US. Hopefully the emissions are better regulated in other parts of the world. I do amateur radio and solar neighbors are creating ugly amounts of “noise” that make communications almost impossible for nearby radio systems. Beware!
