Would it be to much of a cluster on the display if VOR’s an names were displayed? Or just an overlay of VOR’s?
That would be a great feature to have an option to view VOR’s. As you see the aircraft cross it or vectored over.
We will absolutely have the ability to view navaids and intersections on track maps. We’ve got the icons ready to go. The data guys just (like yesterday) cracked the dataset and have all the info in the database. Look for them in the next 30 days.
You won’t normally see them on airport maps, but once we’re ready to roll out the ability to zoom, pan and turn on and off layers (weather, roads, airports, etc) on the big maps, you’ll have the option to show and not show those as well.
