I have 1 system: Rasp. Pi 2 B - 8 Gb Mem Card - ADS-B Receiver (Wired to local network)
Why do I get different results when viewing http:\myipaddress:8080 from multiple computers. Two computers viewing at the same time same network address. One shows 10-20 Planes, varies depending on the system i watch.
I also notice that PlanePlotter shows 40-50 more planes and Thousands of points different also. Im getting the PlanePloter feed from the above device. Why are the results different? Is this common? Thank you
Do you have download turned off in PlanePlotter so you are not downloading data from the PlanePlotter network and are only looking at your feed? Also what is your expire time in PP set to before old planes drop off after data is no longer being received?
I will look at the PP expire time when I get home. Before installing PP I was only using FA Dump1090. While viewing ipaddress:8080 I got 2 different results on 2 computers looking at same webpage.
After installing PP i get more results and positions from PP. I just started feeding to FA 2 days ago from PP. So like today if you check out flightaware.com/adsb/stats/user/trackingit and look at site 12232 that is feed from Rasp Pi FA and site 12552 is the same reciever just feed from same reciever downloaded to FA. (100 + more planes and 10000+ more positions) (Yes PP is not DL any data. only showing live results from my receiver)
