Difference between Piper Lance (low tail) and early Saratoga

I look online all the time and I see Piper Lances and Piper Saratoga SP’s and they all look the same. I was wondering what the difference is.

The Lance was an offshoot of the Cherokee 6, the Saratoga came later.
The aircraft are quite similar, but have small differences.
