Coax Cable,Connectors and Height

Hi All,

For the new guys getting into this hobby. I cannot stress enough. Get low loss cable Lmr400 ect. Connectors- make sure there tight and not off copies of cheap ones. Invest in the Flight aware 1090mhz antenna. I like tinkering so I made a few home made ones to start. Not if you can get the height outside and clear, go for it. The Lmr4oo cable or Lmr600 cable has a max run they say. I will be trying that stat out when I run another 50ft to the 33ft I have now.

Shoegolf…I have to say that your recent upgrades to your setup there sure has made a positive difference in your stats. Nicely done!
