Citation????? no nose gear landing at YVR . . .

Aviation Safety report

Local reports state it was a Citation, but FlightAware shows FlightAware Flight Tracker N161WC Global Express arriving at that time.

Reported as nose wheel problems, landed without nose, and aircraft suffered extensive nose damage.

That is Dennis Washington’s plane. Not sure if that’s the right plane as it flew to Seattle tonight and enroute Palm Springs right now.

I see ASN has amended their accident report.

I already heard from a friend in Vancouver that said N161WC arrived and later departed. The accident aircraft turns out to be a Mexican registered Citation 650 - there are 22 of them on the Mexican register.

Narrative: On landing runway 12, A private Mexican registered Citation 650, IFR Tijuana to Vancouver exited the runway at a high rate of speed. Aircraft came to rest in the grass aprox 400 feet north of runway 08R on the east side of runway 12. ERS advised and responded. Five souls on board. No injuries reported. Runway 08R and Runway 12 NOTAMed closed until 051300.
