Hey Guys, my BF @ Boeing says KLGB runway 12-30 has been closed due to Citation having a nose gear problem on landing. Not sure if it was up or collapsed. Hear any news? All jets now departing 25R. 
Long Beach airport’s main runway closed

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach Airport is diverting commercial flights to two alternate runways after a private Cessna plane crashed on the main runway today, authorities said.
No one was injured in the crash, which occurred at about 3:15 p.m. when the Cessna’s landing gear collapsed, said spokeswoman Sharon Diggs-Jackson.
Commercial flights are being diverted to two parallel runways while workers clear the wreckage.
Diggs-Jackson said nearby residents may notice louder noise from the two alternate runways, which are rarely used for commercial flights.
The main runway will be closed until further notice, she said.

Thanks guys! I asked Kev what the N number was, but he couldn’t see as he was waaay long on the runway. I hate it that the media calls this a crash, I bet the guy held it as long as he could before easing her down. Far from a crash!! Will listen to the ATC feed to see if I guessed right!
